Advisory committees play an important role at the Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton in providing guidance and direction to the administration, staff and faculty.
Occupational Advisory Committees in each program recommend changes in curriculum and instruction to better meet the needs of employers in the region. The committee enables members of the faculty to stay abreast of the latest equipment, methods, trends and technologies in their respective occupational areas.
The General Advisory Committee, which meets in the spring and fall of each year, provides an overall direction and recommendation to the administration, faculty and staff for the effective operation of the Tennessee Technology Center.
