Millwright Skills
The 12 months of training consists of classroom and "hands-on" learning experiences in the installation, alignment, and maintenance of all types of industrial equipment and machinery, using the latest technologies in troubleshooting, alignment, leveling and repairing.
Instruction is given in blueprint reading, welding, industrial electricity, lubrication, pipefitting, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning in order to give the student multiple craft skills.
The millwright skills graduate will have the knowledge necessary to acquire employment and develop a career in the construction/ maintenance fields.

Effective Fall Trimester, 2011, maximum financial assistance to qualifying students enrolled in the Millwright Skills Training Program for 1,296 clock hours of instruction is as follows: Wilder-Naifeh Technical Skills Grant, $2,000; Federal Pell Grant, $5,500.
The Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton does not offer a student loan program.
96% of graduates from this program, who began their studies in 2011, completed it within 1,296 clock hours - 12 months months.
