Barbara has served as the CNA instructor at TTC-Elizabethton since 1992. She graduated from the LPN program at Marshall Nave Paramedical School in 1979. Ms. Benfield also attended Walters State Community College and East Tennessee State University. She has worked in several areas of nursing, including pediatrics, geriatrics and psychiatrics.
