Lyn received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tennessee Technological University. She is currently certified in HOSPICE and Palliative Care. She started teaching at TTC-Elizabethton in 2001. She will graduate in December 2005 with a Masters in Nursing from St. Josephs’ College in Maine. Currently she is a member of Hospice and Palliative Nurses' Association, Association of Camp Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau.
During the summer, Ms. Cain is a camp nurse and volunteers fro Red Cross and Fresh Starts (surgical provider of free plastic surgery for underprivileged children).
