Jerry Michael Patton has served as Director of TTC-Elizabethton for five years. Previously, Jerry served as Student Services Coordinator at TTC-Morristown. He began his career with the Tennessee Board of Regents System at Walters State Community College in 1988. A native of Ohio, Jerry graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He received his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee. For three years, he taught at the high school level.
Jerry is Vice President of the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce and member of the Elizabethton Rotary Club and Sycamore Shoals Hospital Board of Directors. He also serves as the liaison for coordinators of Tennessee Technology Center Licensed Practical Nursing Programs. In 2004, Jerry co-chaired a committee to implement the Wilder-Naifeh Technical Skills Grant of the Tennessee Lottery Education Scholarship.
