Jerry Patton, Director of Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton, accepted a check for $3500.00 from NHC HealthCare, Bristol, TN on behalf of the Practical Nursing program. The check was presented by Charlotte Wilson, NHC Administrator, at the Bristol location. The donation will be used for upgrades to equipment and new purchases to enhance the nursing lab.
Last year, NHC HealthCare in Johnson City donated funds to purchase videos for the library. The new videos will provide up-to-date information to students in the nursing program.
Currently, TTC-E has one of the largest LPN programs in the state. Expanding their services, a new class was started this year in Kingsport. There are three 12-month day programs and one 18-month evening program.
