The Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton is offering a 30-hour course to prepare high school students in Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington counties for the ACT college-entrance test.
Classes meet in the Tech Foundations Lab, 1500 Arney Street, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The cost is $75. To enroll, contact Patricia Roark.
National ACT Testing will be held Feb. 9, April 12 and June 14. Applications to take the test are available online at www.actstudent.org.
