Student of the Month – April

Richard Moore of Jonesborough, a student in the Welding Training Program, has been named Student of the Month. A displaced worker due to a plant closing, Richard is launching a new career in welding after he completes the 12-month training program in September. Richard’s attributes, according to his instructor, include an outstanding character, a willingness to learn, exceptional leadership and worker characteristics that set an example for other students. Richard will be a tremendous asset to future employers, his instructor said.
