Automotive Program Advisors Meet

Recruitment and training of automotive technicians needed to fill jobs of tomorrow were discussed at a recent meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Automotive Technology Program Advisory Committee at the Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton.

Students receive Certificate Awards after completing three weeks to four months of study in various automotive categories and an Automotive Technician Diploma after 20 months of study. Graduates of the program are also eligible to take the Automotive Service Excellence test to be certified.
