Registration is underway for a five-week Certified Nurse Aide Training Program that begins July 11 at the Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton.
The program, covering state regulations mandated by the Tennessee Department of Health and Environment, is designed to prepare students for the Certified Nurse Aide state exam, according to Patricia Roark, RN and program coordinator. Program graduates will also receive CPR Certification.
Classes meet from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the first three weeks and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. the last two weeks. The cost of the course is approximately $450, which includes tuition, fees, books and materials.
