William Jeff Johnson of Hampton, a student in the Electricity-Electronics Training Program at the Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton, has been named Student of the Month. Johnson plans to continue his education in pursuit of a career in alternative energy after obtaining his state electrical license when he completes the 12-month training program. Prior to enrolling at TTC-Elizabethton, he was a rescue swimmer with the U.S. Coast Guard.
