Jerry Patton, director of the Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton, pictured at left, and Dr. Paul Stanton, president of ETSU and member of the TTC General Advisory Committee, discuss the school’s Licensed Practical Nursing Program. At a recent committee meeting, Dr. Stanton complimented nursing faculty and students at TTC Elizabethton for the excellent passage rate on the Tennessee Board of Nursing exam. One of the largest LPN programs in Tennessee, TTC-Elizabethton had 134 nursing graduates in 2006 and expects an additional 150 nursing graduates in 2007. Many graduates of the one-year LPN program at TTC-Elizabethton enroll at ETSU to pursue an RN degree.
