Lisa Stout of Mountain City has been named Student of the Month in Business Systems Technology. When Lisa graduates in August of 2009, she will receive three diplomas--Administrative Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant and Medical Coding Technician. Recently, Lisa was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society reserved for students who have a 95 overall grade point average. She attributes her success to the support and encouragement from her two daughters and grandson.

Tim Turner of Elizabethton has been named Student of the Month in Automotive Technology. According to his instructor, Tim has an excellent work ethic and strong leadership skills. "Tim is enthusiastic and eager to learn the necessary skills to become an automotive technician," his instructor said. Tim was previously employed by Epic Technologies.
