Course Description
A 23-day training program designed to provide the basic training for a nurse aide to function in a nursing home or health care facility, improve the quality of care, and to increase the positive perception of the nursing assistant. It is the intention of this program to motivate learning, encourage career development, and provide necessary skills for job opportunities. The conceptual framework of the Nurse Aide Training Program is centered around the state regulations mandated by the Tennessee Department of Health and Environment.
