Course Description
An Online Program designed to meet the educational needs of individuals desiring to work as Dietary Managers. Dietary Managers work together with Registered Dietitians to provide quality nutritional care for patients/residents. They are involved in food procurement services, sanitation, food and safety, as well as administrative personnel management. This program consists of one to two lessons per week and 150 hours of field experience training. The program is approved by the Dietary Manager Association (DMA) and is designed to prepare graduates to take the National Credentialing Exam to become a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM).

Note: Each student would need a Lab Coat and a Name Pin for field training experience.

The minimum requirements can be found at the Tennessee Board of Regents website. Please note that Microsoft Word must be used to submit assignments.

Payment Options

You can pay through money orders, credit cards, Pell Grant, TN Lottery Scholarship. This program qualifies for the Federal Pell Grant and the Tennessee Lottery Scholarship. Please include the school code - 005281 - on the FAFSA Application for Student Aid. If you are being sponsored by a facility, the facility would need to pay by check or credit card. Books cannot be shipped until payment is received.
